American Academy Performing Arts presents Monty Python's SPAMALOT, School Edition

Spamalot, School Edition (Rated PG), features the middle school students of American Academy Performing Arts as they tell the legendary tale of King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail, in the spirit of Monty Python.  Inspired by the classic comedy film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this musical typifies Monty Python humor, and makes it enjoyable for all ages.  Spamalot features shenanigans including wild singing and dancing (including monks and nuns), frighteningly flatulent Frenchmen, the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, killer rabbits, and much more.

The Schoolhouse Theater

Friday, July 27 - 7:00 PM
Saturday, July 28 - 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Sunday, July 29 - 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Throughout the show, Arthur, traveling with his servant, Patsy, recruits several knights to accompany him on his quest.  Together they set out in search of the Holy Grail, but first, Camelot!  In addition to rabbits, monks, nuns, knights, and farting Frenchmen, we meet such characters as the Lady of the Lake, Prince Herbert, Tim the Enchanter, Not Dead Fred, The Black Knight, and the Knights who say "Ni"!  Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon or evening of good fun in the spirit of Monty Python!  Please note that the final two performances on Sunday feature our cast of American Academy Alumni and possibly a staff member or two!
